1.Who we are and what this covers
This policy explains how Glee, a product of Earlybird Inc. (“Glee”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and protects personal information when you use glee.so, glee.bio pages, our apps, our API and related services (the “Services”).
It covers two groups of people:
- Creators: people and businesses who build pages, run accounts, send emails and sell through Glee, including their team members and agencies.
- Visitors: people who view, click, scan, book, buy, subscribe or submit information on a creator's page.
If you don't agree with this policy, please don't use the Services.

3.How we use information
We use personal information to run, secure and improve Glee, and only for these purposes:
- Provide the Services: host pages, import links, run short links, QR codes and wallet cards, take bookings and send reminders, and deliver the emails creators send.
- Analytics for creators: dashboards, growth tracking and the weekly summary.
- Glow, our built-in AI: write and improve pages, bios and emails, check links, qualify leads, suggest content and campaigns. Glow's work is never published or sent without the creator's approval.
- A/B testing: when a creator turns it on, show visitors different versions of a page and measure which works better.
- Purchases and payments: process lifetime deal and plan purchases, and handle payments for paid bookings through the booking provider a creator connects.
- Usage limits: count clicks, visits, scans and emails against plan limits, and prevent abuse of them.
- Communications: account, security and billing notices, booking reminders, push notifications visitors opted into, and our own marketing emails, which you can unsubscribe from.
- Safety and legal: prevent fraud, spam and abuse, protect email deliverability, enforce our Terms of Service and meet legal obligations.
AI and model training
We do not use creators' page content, leads, subscriber lists or prompts to train third-party AI models. Our AI providers process this data only to return results to you.
Legal bases (EU, UK and Switzerland)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performing our contract with you; our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving Glee; your consent (for example push notifications and non-essential cookies); and legal obligations.
Automated decisions
Glow can score leads and suggest which ones to follow up. These scores help creators decide; they don't make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on visitors. You can ask us about how they work (section 9).
4.Creators, visitors and agencies
When a visitor books a session, submits a form, buys something or joins a creator's email list, that creator decides how the information is used. The creator is responsible for it (the “controller”), and Glee processes it on the creator's behalf.
- Visitors: questions about how a creator uses your information should go to that creator first. We'll help where we can.
- Creators: you need a lawful basis to collect visitor data, to tell visitors how you use it, to send marketing emails only to people who agreed to get them, and to honour their requests. Exports you download, and data you send to other apps through our API, webhooks or MCP, are your responsibility.
- Agencies and teams: when you manage pages in several workspaces, you and your clients control those pages' data; Glee acts as your service provider. Team members you invite can see the data in the workspaces you give them.
Glee remains responsible for visitor data we use for our own purposes, such as security, fraud prevention, email deliverability and overall product analytics. If you need a data processing agreement for your business, email us.
7.Emails creators send through Glee
Creators can email their subscribers from Glee, through their own email provider (Resend, Brevo, SendGrid or Mailgun).
- Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, the creator can't email you marketing from Glee again unless you sign up again.
- We record delivery, opens, clicks, bounces and spam complaints so creators can see results and so we can protect deliverability for everyone.
- The creator's email provider also receives the message and the recipient's address, under that provider's terms.
8.Retention, security and international transfers
How long we keep it
We keep account and page data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except backups (cleared within 90 days) and records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons (up to 7 years). Visitor analytics are kept in identifiable form for 24 months, then aggregated. Unsubscribe records are kept so we can keep honouring them.
Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, hashed passwords and API keys, encrypted email provider keys and regular reviews. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we'll tell you and the regulators as the law requires.
International transfers
Glee is based in Canada. We and our providers may process data in Canada, the United States and other countries where our providers operate. When we move data out of the EU, UK or Switzerland, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
9.Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, withdraw consent, or object to or limit certain uses. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
- Canada (PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25): access and correction; in Quebec, data portability and information about automated decisions.
- EU, UK and Switzerland (GDPR): the rights above, plus the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
- California and other US states: the right to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising. We don't sell personal information.
How to use them: most data can be edited, exported or deleted in your account settings, including subscribers, leads and stats. Otherwise email support@glee.so. We reply within 30 days (or the time your law sets) and may need to confirm who you are first. Visitors asking about a specific creator's page: see section 4.
Marketing and push: unsubscribe with the link in any marketing email, and turn off push notifications in your browser or device settings.
10.Children
Glee is not meant for anyone under 16 (or the age of digital consent where you live), and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
11.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Glee changes. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date and, for important changes, tell account holders by email or in the app before they take effect.
