1.This agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Earlybird Inc. (“Glee”, “we”, “us”) and cover your use of glee.so, glee.bio pages, our apps, our API and related services (the “Services”). By creating an account, buying a plan or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
If you use Glee for a business or agency, you accept these Terms on its behalf and confirm you have the authority to do so.
2.Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 16, or the age of majority where you live if you sell products or bookings or accept payments.
- Give accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You're responsible for your login details, your API keys and everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away at support@glee.so if you think someone else has access.
3.The lifetime deal
Glee is offered as a lifetime deal: you pay once for a tier and keep that tier's features and limits without a monthly or yearly bill.
- What “lifetime” means: access for as long as Glee offers the Services, not the lifetime of a person. Your deal stays with the account it was bought for.
- What you get: the features and limits listed for your tier at the time you bought it, such as workspaces, bio pages, team seats, custom domains, monthly clicks, visits and scans, and monthly marketing emails. Improvements we make to those features are included.
- New products: we may launch separate products or add-ons that aren't part of your tier. We'll always be clear about what's included.
- AI usage: Glow is included. Its use may be measured in credits or fair-use limits per tier, which we show in your account. We won't remove Glow from a lifetime tier.
- Upgrades: you can move to a higher tier at any time at the price we show in your account.
- No resale or transfer: lifetime deals are for your own use (or your clients', on tiers with several workspaces) and can't be resold, shared outside your team, or moved to another account without our written agreement.
- Taxes: prices exclude taxes unless shown otherwise; applicable sales tax or VAT is added at checkout.
- If Glee ever closes: we'll give at least 90 days' notice so you can export your pages, subscribers, leads and stats.
4.Payments, refunds and chargebacks
- Payment: purchases are processed by Stripe at the price shown at checkout. Any subscription plans we offer in future renew automatically until cancelled, and we'll give at least 30 days' notice of a price change.
- Refunds: payments are non-refundable except where the law requires it or where we say otherwise at checkout.
- Chargebacks: if you dispute a payment with your bank instead of contacting us, we may pause paid features while the dispute is open. Please talk to us first; we'll do our best to put things right.
5.Usage limits and fair use
Each tier has monthly limits, counted across your whole account and reset each calendar month:
- Clicks, visits and scans: page views, link clicks and QR scans across all your pages.
- Marketing emails: the number of marketing emails you can send each month.
- Workspaces, bio pages, team seats and custom domains: the number your tier includes.
If you go over a limit, your pages stay live. We'll let you know, and we may ask you to upgrade or pause extra sending until the next month. “Unlimited” means no set cap for normal use by a person or business; it doesn't cover automated, abusive or resold use that harms the Services or other users.
6.Handles, workspaces and custom domains
Your Glee handle is licensed to you while your account is in good standing; you don't own it. We may reclaim a handle that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, is held only to resell or block others, or belongs to an account that has been inactive for more than 12 months.
You can connect domains you own up to your tier's limit. You stay responsible for the domain's registration, renewal and DNS settings.
Team members you invite act on your behalf. You're responsible for what they do in your workspaces and for removing access when they leave.
7.Your content
You keep ownership of everything you put on Glee: your bio, links, images, branding, products, wallet items, emails, files and other materials (“Your Content”).
You give Glee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, adapt (for example resizing images or formatting for phones) and distribute Your Content only as needed to run, secure and improve the Services. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time or content others have already shared.
You confirm you have the rights to Your Content, including anything you import from Linktree, Beacons, Stan, Bento or another page, and that it doesn't break these Terms or anyone else's rights.
8.Acceptable use
You agree not to use Glee to:
- Break any law, or promote illegal goods, services or activity.
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights.
- Impersonate a person or brand, or mislead people about who you are.
- Share sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that threatens, harasses or incites violence or hatred.
- Spread malware, phishing pages, spam or deceptive redirects, including through short links or QR codes.
- Collect visitors' personal information without a lawful basis or a clear explanation of how you'll use it.
- Sell fraudulent products, or take payments for services you don't intend to deliver.
- Scrape, overload, reverse engineer or interfere with the Services, or get around usage limits or security.
- Inflate clicks, views, scans or other numbers artificially.
We may remove content, disable links, QR codes or pages, or suspend accounts that break these rules. Report a page to support@glee.so.
9.Marketing emails and email providers
- Only email people who agreed to hear from you, and follow anti-spam laws such as CASL, CAN-SPAM and the GDPR.
- Every marketing email must include your real identity, a postal address where the law requires it, and a working unsubscribe link. Don't remove or hide it.
- Don't upload bought, rented or scraped lists.
- To protect deliverability for everyone, we may pause sending if your bounce or spam-complaint rates are unusually high, while we work it out with you.
- You send through your own email provider (Resend, Brevo, SendGrid or Mailgun). You're responsible for that account, its API key and its provider's rules.
10.Bookings, payments and wallet cards
Glee gives creators tools to take bookings and to share wallet business cards. Free sessions are booked in Glee; paid sessions are booked and paid on the creator's connected booking provider (such as Cal.com or Calendly). Glee doesn't take a commission on bookings.
- Creators are the sellers. You're solely responsible for what you sell, your prices, cancellation and refund policies, taxes and any licences your services need.
- Visitors who book or buy make an agreement with the creator, not with Glee. Questions, disputes and refunds go to the creator first.
- Payments for paid sessions are taken by the booking provider you connect, under its own terms. Glee is not a bank or payment provider and doesn't hold creator funds.
- Wallet cards share your details by QR code, NFC and link. People who send their details back become contacts in your Audience.
11.Glow, our AI, and A/B testing
- Glow writes drafts and suggestions that may be inaccurate, incomplete or similar to content made for others. Check them before you rely on or publish them.
- Glow's work is only published or sent when you approve it. You're responsible for what you publish and send, including AI-written content.
- Between you and Glee, you own the outputs made for you, to the extent the law allows.
- When you turn on A/B testing, you let Glee show visitors versions of your page and keep the best-performing one. You can turn it off at any time.
12.API, webhooks and MCP
- Keep your API keys secret. Anything done with your keys counts as done by you.
- Stay within the rate limits we publish, and don't use the API to get around plan limits or to build a competing service from our data.
- When you connect an app or AI assistant through our API, webhooks or MCP, you choose what it can see and do. You're responsible for that app and for the data you send to it.
- We may change or retire API versions with reasonable notice, and may revoke keys that are being misused.
13.Leads, visitors and your obligations
When you collect leads, bookings, subscribers or push subscribers through Glee, you're responsible for that data. Tell visitors how you'll use it, have a lawful basis to collect it, follow anti-spam laws when you contact them, and honour their requests to see or delete it. Our Privacy Policy explains how Glee handles this data on your behalf.
14.Agencies and clients
If you run pages for clients, you need your clients' permission, you're responsible for their compliance with these Terms, and you're responsible for the fees on your account. Where your tier allows it you may hide Glee branding, but you may not resell access to the Services as your own product beyond the features we provide.
15.Third-party services
The Services connect with third-party tools such as calendars, payment processors, email servers, wallets, AI assistants and the sites your links point to. Their own terms apply, and Glee isn't responsible for their content, availability or practices.
16.Glee's intellectual property and beta features
The Services, including our software, templates, design, logos and the Glee name, belong to Glee and its licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them under these Terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
Features marked beta or preview are still being built. They may change or end, and they come without any promise that they'll work perfectly.
17.Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Glee infringes your copyright, email support@glee.so with the work, the infringing content and its URL, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised. We respond under applicable law, including Canada's notice-and-notice regime and, where it applies, the US DMCA. We may close the accounts of repeat infringers.
18.Suspension, termination and exports
You can stop using Glee and delete your account at any time. Before you go, you can export your subscribers, leads and stats. Deleting your account ends a lifetime deal without a refund unless the law says otherwise.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect users or the Services. Where reasonable, we'll give notice and a chance to fix the problem or export your data first. If we close your account for a serious breach, your lifetime deal ends without a refund.
Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, liability limits and governing law) will survive.
19.Availability and disclaimers
We work hard to keep Glee fast and online, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free; maintenance and outages can happen.
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, Glee disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that analytics or AI outputs will be accurate, or that using Glee will grow your audience or income.
20.Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, Glee won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Glee's total liability for any claim about the Services is limited to the greater of what you paid Glee in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits your rights under consumer protection law.
21.Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Glee against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, what you sell or send through Glee, your use of visitor data, the apps you connect, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
22.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be settled in the courts of Toronto, Ontario, unless the consumer protection laws where you live let you bring a claim in your local courts. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to sort it out informally.
23.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Glee changes. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date and, for important changes, tell account holders by email or in the app at least 30 days before they apply. Changes won't take away the core features and limits of a lifetime tier you've already bought. If you keep using the Services after changes take effect, you accept them.
24.General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Glee about the Services. If any part can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You agree we can send you notices electronically, by email or in the app.
